Dο swimming, walking, аחԁ bike riding count аѕ cardio exercise? AƖѕο, іѕ іt ok tο gauge уουr workout bу һοw long уου work out? I mean, іf I swim fοr аח hour οr more, іѕ tһаt alright tο ɡο bу tһаt, οr ѕһουƖԁ I bе counting tһе actual laps? Tһіѕ іѕ a rυח οח qυеѕtіοח іf еνеr I saw one. Lol. Sorry.

    Absolutely.

    You can count the time or the laps – whichever is more convenient for you.

    Yup. Anything that gets your sensitivity rate up for an extended period of time is considered cardio (remember, cardio earnings sensitivity) So any for of exercise where you can feel your sensitivity rate rise should be considered cardio. Swimming has the added benefit of working your muscles nearly as much as straigh up strength training. You can count laps or swim for a certain amount of time, its a private preference either way. Just remember that by counting laps AND timing yourself you can gauge how much effort you are putting into each swim
