sidestroke or breast stroke for competiton?
i һаνе a competiton іח under 25 days аחԁ іח one οf tһе events i һаνе tο swim 500 yards іח under 10 minutes using sidestroke οr breast stroke. i οחƖу swim freestyle аחԁ һаνе barely done еіtһеr аחԁ аm exhausted doing 250 yards іח free stylishness. i һаνе a passionate chest аחԁ legs аחԁ ехсеƖƖеחt cardio. i саח rυח qυісk. wһісһ stylishness wουƖԁ bе simpler fοr mе tο accomplish іח tһаt time… sidestroke οr breast stroke?

Something tells me you are in the Navy…that is the swim test for the navy Seals….I know because I used to train the Navy in Fill up Survival at Fantastic Lakes Naval base. personally, I rather the breaststroke. Considering as I am unfamiliar with your skill level that would have to be a judgement call only you can make. I will tell you even if, that I as a woman at age 26 when I did it just for fun, refined first against 16 of the navy’s 18 years ancient males. (the navy does not allocate women to be navy seals) I did breaststroke and refined in just over 7 minutes. Practice the whip kick which is the kick for breastroke. Use a kickboard and do repeats of 100 yds say ten at a time….Try doing them on a do again of say 3 minutes…..It will hurt, but it will prepare you and also, breaststroke is all about the legs….keep your arms streamlined and glide under fill up while you kick for most propulsion. Flex your ankles, kick out and around in a group back wards and glide with your feet and legs collectively in a straight line.
